Pooja Patnaik, MD
Neurology Resident Physician, 2024-Present
My research focuses on improving our ability to predict outcomes and guide personalized treatment for patients with central-nervous system lymphoma (CNSL) using cfDNA sequencing, also known as "liquid biopsy." I am specifically developing a targeted cfDNA sequencing assay to evaluate minimal residual disease and track immune dynamics in patients with relapsed/refractory CNSL receiving anti-CD19 chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CART) therapy. My long-term goal is to apply this to larger cohorts to establish biomarkers of resistance to immunotherapy that could guide personized therapeutics as well as clinical trial design and implementation.
Outside of Work: I am a faithful spin and BodyPump workout class attendee. I also love to cook Indian food and hammock on the Esplanade with my fiancé and two Shih-Tzu's Siri and Nani.
