Mark A. Murakami, MD

Principal Investigator

Dr. Murakami graduated from Washington University School of Medicine with an MD and MA in Biology and Biomedical Sciences in 2009. He trained in Internal Medicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital before pursuing subspecialty training in Hematology and Medical Oncology at the Dana-Farber/Partners CancerCare program. He earned his MMSc in Biomedical Informatics from Harvard Medical School in 2016.

He has been an independent laboratory investigator in the Division of Hematologic Neoplasia at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute since 2018. He devotes his clinical practice to patients with hematological malignancies, including leukemia and lymphoma and those undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. He contributes to early phase clinical trials through correlative science.
